A few weeks ago, I was inspired to aim for a big goal. I decided that I would tick off my bucket list checkbox to "run a marathon", and immediately set about looking for an interesting one to run, that would also be reasonably flat (hills and I are not friends).
London and Berlin made my shortlist.
As I have a year of maternity leave, I ended up deciding Berlin 2015 would be the most achievable if I delayed my start date at work a little bit (juggling children, just returning to work and a marathon would probably be tricky!)
So, here it is. My goal in big bold letters.
Run a marathon in Berlin 2015.
A Facebook group I'm part of, "Running Mums Australia", inspires me on a day to day basis. Mums out there across deserts, farms, cities are all juggling life as well as a love of running. So, I decided this blog would be about being a running mum, not just a person setting out to do a marathon.
I will post every week, usually on a Monday, about my running, and also about what my children did that make me laugh (or cry).
